# Footer

This section provides both essential information and navigation options. It ensures functionality and professionalism while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic for the page.

* The statement **"This shop will be powered by Shopify"** reassures visitors that the store is hosted on a reliable and reputable platform. This can build trust with potential customers even before the store is live.
* The **"Are you the store owner? Log in here"** link provides a direct and convenient entry point for store owners, ensuring they can easily access the store for updates or final preparations without needing to navigate elsewhere.

### **Section settings**

**Transparent footer setting:**

* **Enable transparent footer:** When checked, the footer becomes transparent, allowing the background of the page to remain visible behind it.
* **Text color:** Use the color picker to customize the text and icon colors in the transparent footer. This setting overrides the **Color scheme** settings for the footer, ensuring contrast and readability.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.byinspiredlabs.com/coming-soon-page/footer.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
